There was good news for around two thousand Permanent TSB customers today as they are set to receive a windfall after the bank decided to withdraw a Supreme Court appeal regarding their tracker mortgages.
It is believed that two customers in particular had complained to the Financial Services Ombudsman after they switched out of cheap trackers to fixed rate mortgages but they were told they couldn’t switch back.
The two people in question successfully brought their case to the High Court, were PTSB decided to pull out this morning after deciding not to appeal the decision.
