Mayo GAA fans have been cautioned about money making scams that may seek to take advantage of their generous nature over the next few weeks.
Having overcome Kerry in a tremendous performance in the semi-final replay on Saturday, Mayo are set for another All-Ireland final show down, yet some scam artists are intent on tainting the jovial sporting atmosphere with cynical schemes.
The fans are being warned to be cautious of alleged fundraising activities for the GAA, that purport to be in aid of county clubs but are rather money-making scams to line the pockets of a few dubious individuals.
