A shark has killed a surfer off the Australian coast.
It is understood that passers-by spotted a male body floating face down just off Greenmount Beach, a popular surfing spot on the Gold Coast.
Paramedics rushed to the scene, but they could only certify the man’s death.
This is the seventh fatal shark attack in Australian waters this year.
