The funeral of Lynsey Bennett, an activist for CervicalCheck, took place today.
The service took place at St. John’s Church, Battery Road, in Longford.
Ms. Bennett, a mother of two, died Thursday at the age of 34. She was diagnosed with invasive cervical cancer in 2017, after alleged misinterpretation of the slides.
In 2021 she settled a lawsuit she had brought against HSE and several other parties.
