Kathleen Watkins was interviewed on Friday night’s Late Late Show about her late husband, the legendary broadcaster Gay Byrne.
Mrs Warkins spoke about the outpouring of support and love that herself and her family received following Gay’s death. She said that she received cards and well wishes from the four corners of Ireland and beyond.
The softly spoken lady went down well with viewers who said that she came across very genuine and kind during the interview.
