A man was stabbed this afternoon while socialising in a pub on Bachelors Walk just off O’Connell Street.
A row broke out with a man believed to be an associate of the victim. The man was stabbed numerous times in the leg and back. Gardai and emergency services attended the scene where the man was taken to the Mater Hospital.
A man was arrested at the scene, and is being held at Store Street garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
