Two more garda members were attacked and badly beaten in the early hours of this morning – this time in Dublin.
The vicious attack happened at Aylward Green, Finglas, Dublin 11 this morning at 1.50am.
A male garda received facial injuries and a female garda officer received a fractured wrist during the incident.
They were both taken to Connolly Hospital in Blachardstown where they were treated for their injuries.
Gardai say two men in their 20s have been arrested in connection to the attack.
