Gardaí in Dublin have confirmed this evening that a woman has been taken to hospital this evening after shots were fired at her and acid was thrown at her.
It is understood the shocking incident occurred at Oldcastle Park in Clondalkin, when the pregnant woman thought to be in her 30s – and her partner were rammed by another car whilst driving.
Eyewitnesses say a number of shots were fired in the direction of the woman before acid was thrown in her direction.
Thankfully the woman was not seriously injured in the attack and was taken to a nearby hospital for a precautionary measure.
