Simon Harris rushed to hospital and seen within 30 minutes after falling very ill

It has emerged today that the Minister for Health Simon Harris was rushed to St. Vincent’s Hospital last Sunday after he fell severely ill.

According to the Sunday Independent, Harris felt a very bad pain in his left side and was rushed to St. Vincent’s on advice of his GP.

Although he has private health insurance, he was seen in the public section and was checked-in and seen within 30 minutes of entering the hospital, something that more than likely won’t sit well with the general public who usually have to wait at least 4 to 5 hours to be seen.

32-yr-old Harris has Crohns Disease, similar to Ulcerative Colitis but pans the entire digestive system from mouth to colon. Symptoms include severe diarrhoea, something with blood and pain.

Harris spent three nights in the hospital and according to the S-Indo, underwent tests – given his condition, presumably a colonoscopy and endoscopy.

His current health condition isn’t being made known to the public at this time.
