Simon Harris says he wouldn’t be surprised if there’ll be more cases of coronavirus in Ireland

The HSE have announced they’re ready for any coronavirus outbreak that could happen in Ireland following the first confirmed case in Dublin of a male student.

Caretaker Minister for Health Simon Harris has today said that they would not be surprised if there’ll be more cases of coronavirus confirmed in the coming days.

The HSE say that they’ve bought in a major amount of supplies, including gloves, gowns and masks – but many on social media believe that both the HSE and Simon Harris are not doing enough to combat the possible spread and threat that coronavirus poses.

Some 1,500 people now have coronavirus in Italy. With many flights have coming into Ireland over the past week, it’s now highly likely that Ireland will see more confirmed coronavirus cases within the next week.
