Simon Harris has given the go-ahead to Santy and has signed the authorisation for him to enter Irish airspace on Christmas Eve.
Harris would usually announce it on the Dáil floor, however, that wasn’t possible this year.
Harris has posted a video on Instagram instead, but has asked children to promise to be good in the run up to the big day.
