Sinn Fein still the most popular party in the country as there is an increase in support for Fine Gael and The Green Party




There was some good news for Sinn Fein as the party still remains the most popular amongst voters.

According to The Sunday Times/Behaviour and Attitudes survey, Mary Lou McDonald’s party remain on top with 30 points.

However the poll which surveyed 914 voters, found that there has been a slight increase in support for Fine Gael as they rise to 28.

Although it was more of the same for Fianna Fail as they remain unchanged at 22.

Meanwhile there was improvement for the Green Party as they rise by 2 to 5 points.

Elsewhere Labour drop 1 point to 4, while the Social Democrats move up 1 point to 2.

The poll also showed that support for Solidarity-People Before Profit is down 1, seeing the party at 1, whilst the independents are up 1 to 8 and Aontú remain unchanged at 0.
