Sinn Féin has called for the Covid-19 injection rollout for children to take place in Irish schools.
Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire, the education spokesperson Sinn Fein who holds a law degree from UUC, said this week that children should be given the Covid-19 vaccine in schools.
According to Nreakingnews.ie, the Sinn Fein TD said “the school is very regularly a location for frequent vaccinations or vaccinations in the regular course of a child’s life”.
He called on the Government to ensure that teachers and pupils in schools are safe and protected from Covid-19.
Ó Laoghaire continued; “Now is the time to throw the kitchen sink at this,” he said. “It is too important. No reasonable expense can be spared here.”
It is unclear if the Sinn Fein TD thinks that parents should have any say in his proposed plans to use schools as injection locations or if he is advocating for forced vaccinations for all school going children.
