Sinn Fein to submit Bill that call for a ban on rent increases for the next three years.
In a move to combat spiralling rent prices across the country, the party’s housing spokesperson Eoin Ó Broin said that rent is currently too high across the country.
The Bill which will be debated in the Dail next week will also allow for rent prices to fall over the same period.
Announcing the proposed Bill Ó Broin called on both the Green Party and Fianna Fail to support it and give renters a break.
