Sister of missing Galway man Michael Bugler takes to social media to thank those who have helped try and find her still-missing brother

The sister of missing Galway man Michael Bugler has posted a message on social media thanking all of the people who have spent the Christmas break helping to look for the 20-year-old missing student.

Laura Bugler recently took to Facebook to write: “I wish I could thank everyone individually for the turn out today. You’ve all been absolutely amazing, we’re humbled and astounded at the support.” Michael has been missing since Friday the 18 December, and was last seen at approximately 1am in the Quay Street area of Galway city.

Laura further explained that there had been some potential (but no confirmed) sightings of Michael at the Gort na Coirbe student village on Headford Road in the centre of the city at 3am that night. Writing: “We have made good progress with CCTV today and there have some potential sightings at Gort na Coirbe at approximately 03.00am on Thursday night. “If you have seen Michael at any point in the night please contact me and let me know.”

Michael is described as being 5’9″ in height, of thin build with short brown hair and blue eyes. When he was last seen Michael was wearing a blue coloured jumper and jeans.
