A number of groups clashed at a Free Speech Demonstration that took place outside the gates of Leinster House on Saturday afternoon.
It’s understood that both uniformed gardai and undercover gardai were present for the rally. They were attempting to keep two groups of protesters apart while members of the counter-demonstration clashed with gardai and some of the Free Speech rally protesters.
Six people were were arrested have been released pending a court appearance at a later date with a garda investigation ongoing.
