Sky News presenter Kay Burley celebrated her 60th birthday on Saturday with a group of friends, including colleagues from Sky News, at a London restaurant and apologized for accidentally breaking the rules. Kay explained how she dined at a “Covid-compliant restaurant” before going to a second restaurant where she used the bathroom.
However, Guido Fawkes reported that the Sky News reporter celebrated the occasion for the first time at the Century Club in Soho with a group of 10 people, including three of her Sky colleagues. Kay’s party was held at two tables before heading to a nearby restaurant.
She was due to remain off air until early January but now it’s understood that the news presenter will no be back on air until summer 2021.
