If he can stay awake long enough to give a speech, five days before President-elect Donald Trump takes office, Joe Biden will give a farewell speech to the country from the Oval Office on Wednesday, reports Breaking News.
Before he departs office at noon on January 20, the president’s remarks at 8 p.m. Eastern time are expected to be his final major chance to address the American people and the globe.
They will come after he gives a speech on Monday at the State Department on his legacy in foreign affairs, reports Breaking News.
Earlier on Friday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre informed reporters that Mr. Biden would consider his “more than 50 years as a public official.”
“He has some thoughts on the future, not just of the country, but how this country moves forward as a leader, when you think about global events, important global issues, and certainly he will lay that out,” she said, reports Breaking News.
