A former UK Labour MP has written an insightful email to cereal maker Kellogg to demand answers to the question we have all been asking for years. Why are chocolate-flavoured Coco Pops are represented by a monkey while Rice Krispies are marketed using “three white boys”.
Former Peterborough MP Fiona Onasanya was removed from office May after she was convicted of perverting the course of justice over a speeding ticket, but the convicted criminal is too busy to answer for her crime as she is focused on the serious issues.
Are children’s cereal mascots racist?
The perverter of justice tweeted:
“@KelloggsUK, as you are yet to reply to my email – Coco Pops and Rice Krispies have the same compòsition (except for the fact CP’s are brown and chocolate flavoured)… so I was wondering why Rice Krispies have three white boys representing the brand and Coco Pops have a monkey?”
This comes at a time when paranoia over alleged racism has reached fever pitch following the death of convicted home invader George Floyd in Minneapolis and the subsequent protests, riots, looting and violence that followed after the Black Lives Matter movement used to the incident to once against gain media spotlight.
