The classic character Mr Potato Head will be getting a name change as the character is to become gender neutral.
In a move that will be more inline with the times, toy manufacturer Hasbro said they have decided to make the change that was needed after 70 years.
Under the new branding the character which became highly popular in the Toy Story movies in the 1990s and 2000s, will be known as “Potato Head”.
It is expected that the name change will apply to toys which will go on sale later this year.
