Some people are claiming they’re getting acute headaches from wearing face masks

Some people cannot wear face masks due to medical reasons and are exempt, whereas the majority of people do wear them with some people now complaining that they’re getting headaches as a result.

Mask wearing has now been linked to a dramatic increase in acute headache episodes.

According to a study carried out by University Hospital Limerick, there is a link between wearing masks for prolonged periods of time and what the study calls ‘mask-induced headaches.’

The paper is published in the Irish Medical Journal.
