Some teachers say they are not willing to enforce masking wearing for children

Some teachers around the country say that they’re unwilling to force their schoolchildren to wear masks in the classroom.

A number of teachers took to social media saying that they don’t feel comfortable making the kids wear masks and that every child will be welcome in their class regardless of whether they’re wearing masks or not.

Meanwhile, it what can only be described as truly disgraceful, some teachers around the country say that they were left out in the dark in relation to consultation on whether children must wear masks in school or not.

Children as young as 9 will be forced to wear face masks unless they have a medical exemption that will be thoroughly examined as proof.

Any child who doesn’t want to, doesn’t feel comfortable or whose parents’ don’t want to wear a mask, will be told to turn around and leave the school and go home.

One 3rd class school teacher told The Liberal:
“It’s completely unimaginable how traumatic this could be for children who feel they’re unable to wear masks, feel uncomfortable wearing them or their parents don’t want them to wear them.”

“There was no consultation with the teachers who’ll be on the frontline. We thought it was a suggestion rather a requirement”.
