A fresh appeal for information has been issued regarding the disappearance of Kyran Durnin, ahead of the anniversary of the young boy going missing.
Kyran was just two years old when he was last seen in Drogheda, Co Louth, in May 2021. Despite extensive Garda investigations over the years, no trace of the child has ever been found and no one has been charged in connection with his disappearance, reports The Mirror.
Detectives from the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation renewed their appeal to members of the public who may have any information, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, to come forward. Investigators stressed that any detail could prove crucial to the ongoing case.
Kyran’s family continues to live with the anguish of not knowing what happened to their son. The anniversary of his disappearance serves as a yearly reminder of the unresolved nature of the case, and gardaà have urged anyone with information to contact the incident room at Drogheda Garda Station, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station, reports The Mirror.
