There was some good news for concert goers today as Dublin City Council officially granted a license for rock band The Rolling Stones to host a concert at Croke Park later this year.

The news comes after the GAA were given permission to hold a fourth concert at its iconic venue this coming summer.

It is believed the issuing of the licence comes after true GAA came to an agreement with local residents, who initially agreed to three separate concerts at the venue.

The announcement of the concert now means tickets for the show, will go on sale on Friday, March 23, with prices ranging from €70.45 to €181.
