State Of Poor Healthcare: Ireland’s healthcare system the second worst in the EU according to latest survey

According to a recent survey conducted by Numbeo it has been revealed that Ireland’s healthcare system is one the worst in the EU.

The survey which consisted of 32 health care systems across Europe, it was found that the Irish health came second last at number 31, only to be following the Ukraine. The HSE scored a poorly 50.38 out of 100 on the HealthCare Index, whilst the Ukrainian’s system only faired worse getting 49.69.

The news makes bad reading for the HSE and the Irish people as the HealthCare Index evaluates the overall quality of the health care system, including health care professionals, equipment, staff, doctors and spending. The list was topped by France with a score of 82.25, whilst Denmark and Belgium came second and third respectively.
