Status Orange weather warning in effect for seven counties due to strong winds




A Status Orange weather warning is currently in effect for seven counties due to strong winds of up to 130km/h.

The warning covers counties Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, and Kerry, and will remain in place until 8pm this evening.

Met Eireann has also warned about the strong possibility of coastal flooding due to heavy rain, winds, and high tides.
