A Status Yellow weather warning is in place for 14 counties due to foggy conditions.
The warning, which affects counties Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Wicklow, Cavan, Monaghan, Leitrim, and Roscommon, will remain in effect until 11am.
According to the national forecaster, dense fog is likely to create hazardous driving conditions.
