The Department of Justice have revealed that 11,000 people arrived into Dublin Airport last week.
According to Kfm Radio, the Department of Justice revealed that a total of 6,500 residents arrived in the airport last week, whilst 4,500 foreign travellers arrived into the country in the same week.
The Department of Justice say there was a drop of 8% in Irish residents returning to the country.
Meanwhile there was a 7% drop in foreign travellers arriving into the country last week.
