Metro users in Madrid were met with Bizarre scenes as a car stolen from a nearby parking lot, was driven into the Metro station as the thief attempted to flee by driving up the escalator where it unsurprisingly got stuck.

A report from BBC News has detailed how the stolen car was subsequently removed by firefighters. Police say they are investigating after the vehicle was found next to a staircase in Plaza Eliptica station.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital to be checked but police say no-one was injured. A man was arrested as part of the investigation.
