Stoppages continue: Luas drivers set to strike for a further six days after latest talks breakdown




There was further bad news for Dublin City commuters as the union that represents Luas drivers SIPTU, have announced that there will be six more days of planned strike action after the latest round of talks has broken down.

SIPTU the further stoppages will take place on April 28, May 4, May 13, May 20, and May 27, whilst Luas drivers have also revealed that each strike will last 24 hours. They also say there will be an additional, shorter, industrial action on May 26 which will last for approximately four hours.

The latest strikes will follow the planned strikes for April 23 and 24.
