Met Éireann has issued Status Orange wind warnings ahead of the arrival of Storm Brendan which is due to hit Ireland on Monday.
It’s understood that the weather alert will be in effect from early on Monday morning from around 6am onwards.

The national weather forecaster issued an Orange weather warning for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo until midnight and for counties Wexford, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Waterford until at least 3 o’clock.
