Storm Ciara is causing major disruption across the UK today, with snowfalls of up to 20cm and high winds of up to 140km/h prompting delays and cancellations across many transport hubs.

There has been widespread flooding in many areas, with thousands of households left without power.

Flights, ferries, and trains have experienced significant delays or have been cancelled altogether.

Storm Ciara is currently moving north-east of Scotland.
