Storm Fionn is poised to inflict a hammerblow on Ireland soon, bringing down heavy snow, rain, and gale force winds from Tuesday evening on.
An Orange weather warning, the second highest, is now in place for counties Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, and Kerry. Gusts of wind of up to 120km/h and widespread flooding is expected across many areas in these counties.
The warning will remain in place until 3am tonight.
