The latest in a string of winter storms lashing Ireland, Gertrude crossed the country last night, with winds of up to 130km/h in places.
It will remain windy for a time this morning, though conditions will ease as the day progresses.
A Status Orange warning was issued due to damaging gusts of wind nationwide.
