Met Eireann has now officially issued a Status Red weather warning for Co. Clare ahead of the arrival of Storm Hannah, as winds of up to 150km/h are likely at times.
The warning will come into effect at 8pm, and will remain in place for three hours.
The storm front is expected to slam onto the southwest of Ireland over the next two hours.
Citizens around Co. Clare are advised of possibly dangerous conditions, with power outages likely to occur.
