The stormy weather seen over the weekend will give way to a spell of heavy rain over the coming days.
Today, Monday, will remain relatively dry, with temperatures reaching 16C at times. A band of rain will arrive from the west towards evening however, spreading nationwide during the night.
Tuesday morning is expected to be rather wet, though drier weather will develop later in the day, with outbreaks of rain at times.
Wednesday will see more of the same, heavy showers mixed with periods of sunshine and temperatures of around 13C.
