Console is likely to cease to exist today, after a long list of financial irregularities were uncovered.

Newly appointed board members will decide the organization’s fate, following the revelations that former CEO Paul Kelly allegedly misappropriated large sums of the company’s funds for his own benefit and that of his family members.

The charity currently employs 60 counsellors, who provide assistance and help to as many as 300 people nationwide.

A decision on Console’s future will be reached later today.
