It really was a mixed bag in terms of an actual summer for 2019, but Ireland takes what it gets.
The good news is that the thermometer is set to rise to highs of about 25C over the weekend, with today expected to be the best day.
Yesterday was a rather pleasant day overall, with a lot of dry weather around and temperatures of around 20-24C.
Today however will be a lot warmer and is forecast to be a summery day, with long sunny periods, warm temperatures, and little or no rain. The thermometer will hit 26C at times.
Tomorrow’s weather will remain pleasant, though temperatures will dip slightly to early 20s.
