There will be a real feeling of summer for the majority of this week as Met Eireann say temperatures are expected to reach 21C in some places.
According to national forecaster, the remainder of this week will remain dry and relatively warm.
It is expected that sunny spells will last until Thursday as the mercury rises over the coming days.
The forecaster say temperatures could reach 21C in Western and northern areas, but it will be slightly cooler in Eastern and Southern regions.
However some scattered showers are expected to move across the country on Friday and temperatures could slightly dip heading into the weekend.
