It will remain very humid and cloudy for most of the day, however, with the risk of heavy showers across Ulster, Connacht and west Munster later in the evening and throughout the night.
A similar weather pattern will repeat itself tomorrow, with warm temperatures of 21 or 22C predominant and the possibility of scattered showers around the country.
