The national forecaster has announced that Ireland will see benign, summer-like weather for the next 48h, with temperatures reaching low 20s across many areas, but there will be some rain too.
Thursday will start off rather dull, but brighter weather is expected to arrive by the afternoon. The west of the country will see some rain though.
Friday will bring a similar pattern of bright and warm weather across many areas, with some rain in the west.
It will remain mild enough throughout, with temperatures hitting 21C or possibly 22CÂ at times.
