Summer’s end: Heavy rainfall is back with a vengeance

heavyrainfall

Any hopes of an actual summer around these shores are fading fast, as a spell of heavy rain is upon us.

Today, Tuesday, will remain overcast and dull, with widespread outbreaks of rain and temperatures ranging between 14-19C.

There will be a brief respite from the rain on Wednesday, but it will be short-lived, as widespread showers will return towards nightfall.

The forecast is for persistent rain to last into the weekend, with little sunshine, and temperatures a few degrees below the average for the month of July.
