Good news on the weather front at long last.
After a long period of misery, there is a glimpse of hope that this week Ireland will enjoy a somewhat normal weather pattern for this time of year.
Today, Monday, is expected to be cloudy but dry, with temperatures reaching 16C.
Tuesday will be an even better day, with long sunny spells and temperatures rising up to 17C. And as the week progresses, temperatures will rise steadily up to 21C in western areas, with a settled weather pattern overall for the entire week.
