Superb Scotland beat England to claim Calcutta Cup




Scotland have beaten England 11-6 in Twickenham to claim the Calcutta Cup.

In a game where England were the clear favourites, it was Scotland who showed their class and gave a dominant performance to claim their first win of the tournament.

Scotland who have been showing signs of improvement over the autumn will be force to reckon with in thos year’s tournament and they will fancy their chances after they put the reigning champions to the sword at a rain soaked Twickenham.

England who can have no real complaints were a far cry from their usual dominating performances were pretty toothless as a resilient Scotland dominated the game pretty much throughout with a strong defensive performance that saw plenty of turnovers that resulted in a much deserved victory.
