The next Bond movie has finally got a director, and the choice has surprised many.
Cary Joji Fukunaga, director of HBO’s highly acclaimed True Detective series, has been chosen to be at the helm of the next Bond movie. Daniel Craig is expected to reprise the starring role for a fifth and last time.
Danny Boyle was previously attached to the project, but he quit unexpectedly citing ‘creative differences.’
The new, yet unnamed Bond movie is scheduled to be released on February 14, 2020.
