A new survey has named Co Mayo as the best county in Ireland in which to raise a family.
The study by Quote Devil assessed key metrics including schools, crime rates and access to green spaces, with Mayo topping the table for its “appealing lifestyle” and relatively affordable house prices, reports Breaking News.
Donegal and Kerry were ranked second and third respectively, with Sligo, Clare, Cork and Dublin also featuring in the top ten.
At the other end of the table, Kildare was identified as the most challenging county in which to bring up a family, due to high house prices, limited green spaces and elevated crime levels, reports Breaking News.
