It looks like one of the biggest reunions in the modern era is definitely about to happen as it has been confirmed that the legendary guitarist Slash is back in the studio working with former band members Guns N’ Roses.
The exciting news which will delight millions of fans has come from former Guns N’ Roses publicist Arlett Vereecke. According to Ms Verceecke it is believed that Slash has started recording with the band but lead singer Axl Rose hasn’t been involved as of yet. The former publicist told Classic Rock magazine: “I know they’re doing some recording. They’re definitely doing something there in the studio. Axl hasn’t been there, but Slash is definitely in there and it’s not for anyone else.”
Ms Vereecke also told the magazine about the possible setlist for the upcoming Guns N’ Roses reunion tour. The former publicist said that the band will most likely play tracks from 2008′s Chinese Democracy along with late-80s and early-90s material.
The news will be welcomed the band’s fans who are eagerly awaiting their reunion, it is understood their reunion tour will get underway in April with two Las Vegas shows. The band are also scheduled two Mexico City concerts in-between headline appearances at Coachella later in the month. Speaking about the live show Vereecke said “It’s certainly an amazing production.”
