Talks between union representatives of Health care support staff and health service officials are set to resume later today.
The latest round of negotiations come after today’s schedule action was called off on Wednesday evening.
Although talks at the Work Relations Commission are set to last into the weekend it is hoped that further strike action can be avoided in order to prevent further strike action.
Following the confirmation of talks representatives did state that they will hold further strike action on June 25th and 26th if an agreement isn’t reached by midday on Monday.
The scheduled strike action comes following a dispute over the implementation of a job evaluation scheme.
