The Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has reportedly told party colleagues that the Government hopes to be able to tell the public when they will be getting their Covid-19 vaccine at the end of the month.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, the Tanaiste told a parliamentary meeting that the there will be reliable information at the end of March for the vaccine roll-out.
It is believed that the information could come as the European Medicines Agency are set to approve the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine next.
The Irish Mirror reports that the Tanaiste is confident that around 80% of the population will be offered their first jab by the end of June.
