The Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has said that he has obeyed the rules and regulations whilst attending a music festival in the UK.
Speaking about the incident Varadkar said that he followed Government guidelines which are in place for those travelling abroad and he believes that whatever rules are in place also applies to him also.
Despite receiving criticism for attending the event Varadkar said that he also followed the rules and regulations in the country he was in and its the same for everyone who travels abroad.
He added that he was in favour of hosting Electric Picnic this year and he is fully supportive of the arts and entertainment industry returning.
